Setup

How to set up

Sign up or log in to Frameboard

Create your free account at myframeboard.app or log in to your existing workspace.

Go to Settings > Integrations

Open your workspace settings and navigate to the Integrations tab.

Click "Connect Microsoft Teams"

Press the Connect button next to Microsoft Teams. You will be redirected to Microsoft to authorise the connection.

Authorise via your Microsoft account

Log in with your Microsoft 365 work or school account. An Azure AD admin needs to approve the app for your organisation - this is a one-time setup.

Choose your notification channel and preferences

Select which Teams channel receives notifications and configure which proposal events you want to be alerted about.

Common questions

Does it require admin consent?

Yes, an Azure AD admin needs to approve the app for your organisation. This is a one-time setup. Once approved, any team member can connect their Frameboard account.

Can I choose which channel gets notifications?

Yes. During setup you select the Teams channel that receives Frameboard notifications. You can change this at any time from Settings.

Does it work with personal Microsoft accounts?

No, Microsoft Teams integration requires a Microsoft 365 work or school account. Personal Microsoft accounts are not supported.

What proposal events trigger notifications?

Sent, viewed, approved, paid, and stage changes. You can customise which events trigger notifications from your integration settings.
