Proposals sent from Frameboard are automatically created as deals in your HubSpot CRM with the correct value and associated contact.

Map Frameboard proposal statuses to your HubSpot deal stages. When a proposal moves, the HubSpot deal stage updates automatically.

How to set up

Sign up or log in to Frameboard

Create your free account at myframeboard.app or log in to your existing workspace.

Go to Settings > Integrations

Open your workspace settings and navigate to the Integrations tab.

Click "Connect HubSpot"

Press the Connect button next to HubSpot. You will be redirected to HubSpot to authorise the connection via OAuth.

Authorise the connection

Log in to your HubSpot account and grant Frameboard access to your CRM deals, contacts, and timeline.

Configure your preferences

Map your deal stages, choose your default pipeline, and set your contact matching preferences.

Each sent proposal creates a HubSpot deal with the correct value, pipeline, and stage.

Proposal recipients are matched to existing HubSpot contacts by email, or new contacts are created.

Every view, approval, and payment is recorded as a timeline activity on the associated deal.

Deal stages update automatically

When a proposal is approved or paid, the HubSpot deal stage moves to your mapped equivalent.

Common questions

Does it work with HubSpot Free?
Yes. The Frameboard integration works with HubSpot's free CRM tier. You get full deal sync, contact matching, and timeline entries regardless of your HubSpot plan.
Can I map to custom deal stages?
Yes. During setup, you map each Frameboard proposal status (Draft, Sent, Viewed, Approved, Paid) to your custom HubSpot deal stages. You can update these mappings at any time.
Does it sync contacts?
Yes. When you send a proposal, Frameboard looks for an existing HubSpot contact matching the recipient's email address. If one is found, the deal is associated with that contact. If not, a new contact is created automatically.
Which HubSpot pipeline does it use?
You choose your default pipeline during setup. If you have multiple pipelines in HubSpot, you can select which one Frameboard deals are created in from your integration settings.
